America is still America! Politics being well outside the scope of this blog, this is all I can say... so called sweeping health care reform... redistribution of wealth hmmmm... just ask anyone in France how well these Socialist concepts have worked over there. On the plus side sends out a loud HOORAY FOR DEMOCRACY!!

There is not a deranged killer behind every bush! If you like to read the novels of such writers as James Patterson or Lisa Gardner it would be easy to start thinking nut-case killers are everywhere. Happily enough, not true! You have a better chance of getting struck by lightning while being attacked by a shark than meeting a serial killer. So relax and read a scary story

On the plus side...

There is always more to learn! I am just learning about the wide world of computers and having a blast at it. Doing this blog has been so much fun and I thank all of you for reading on the plus side.

You dont get in trouble by shutting up! Ever have a snappy remark on the tip of your tongue? Want to say it even though trouble will be on the way?? Just shut up. Sometimes easier said than done but worth it in the end.

You can still catch "Married With Children" in syndication! With all the so called reality shows cluttering up the airways, Al Bundy lives on. Forget the Waltons and watch a real american family. On the plus side sends out a huge HOORAY for the BUNDYS...now they can cheer anyone up.

There are always options! Walking across campus the other day, i overheard a guy telling his friend that he was going to have to drop out of school because he cant pay for his books. Later the same day I read an article in the school paper with a variety of inexpensive ways to buy or even rent text books.My point is, look around you before throwing in the towel. If you want to do something there IS a way!! Hang in there.

On the plus side...

Life is funny..in a twisted sort of way!I can get very caught up worrying about whatever I think my problems are, until I stop, take a breath and just laugh at the goofiness of it all. Laughing at ourselves is good for the soul, so lighten up

On the plus side...

Reading is fun! Good exercise for the mind too. So turn off the cell phone and step away from the computer(wait!..after you read all my posts please) and check out the latest novel by Stephen King, "Under The Dome". Once again Mr. King delivers a very long yet very cool story.Best of all, you get to enjoy it without the aid of any electrical gadgets except for a light to read by. A big on the plus side for Stephen King!!

The heat is not on yet. Take a walk and enjoy the warm days and cool nights now...the billion degree days are on the way!

Tomorrows a different day! Ever have one of THOSE days? You wake up late, theres no coffee in the house, Publishers Clearing House shows up at the door and says YOU owe THEM 10,000,000 bucks...and things get worse from there. Relax, theres only the rest of today to get through..I know you can make it! A big hello to my ultra famous friend Noelle!!

Computers are within reach! Ontheplusside06 wishes to thank the learning center computer lab as well as the Covina public library ( HEY KRISTIN ) for providing computers and making this blog possible. There is no wrong side to living right! My best bud is taking a class right now called Philosophy of Religion...mind boggling stuff for sure! Happily enough Im a simple guy so heres a simple thought..its better to live as if there is a God and find out theres not at the end than to live as if there is no God and find there is...forever is a long time to spend in a very very warm climate...

Theres always hope. Like many students here at Mt.Sac and everywhere, Im beginning my educational journey on a budget of roughly 0.22 cents. There were a few tense momments earlier this week when it looked like it would be impossible to do this blog because I dont have my own computer...well that and the fact that I dont really know what Im doing! You may wonder why I persist.The reason I took this class is not because I need the credits or because Ihave too much time on my hands or even because I like torturing my friends by asking them to read this. Im doing this simply because my dream has always been to write..and here we are! Some thanks are in order.
